Bista di Paden translates to “view from the inside” in Papiamento. An original painting from my 2020s Subconscious Collective exhibition, Barcelona 2024.
Biomorphic creature forms are a recurring language in my work, figures that exist somewhere between animal, human and feeling.
This piece is a self portrait in that sense, not literal but emotional. The black form against red is confrontational and interior at the same time.
